The project ‘Digital Map of Iberian Literary Relations (1870-1930)’ organizes the International Conference Writing Spaces, Mapping Words: Crossings between Geography, Cartography and Literary Studies, which will take place at the School of Arts and Humanities of the University of LIsbon, on May 29-31 2019.
This conference aims at exploring the interconnections between Geography, Cartography and Literary Studies, with particular attention to the use of digital techonologies (specially GIS). Priority will be given to proposals that apply these methodologies to Iberian literatures, although papers on any geographical and linguistic context will be considered.
In the context of this conference, the project Digital map of Iberian literary relations will be officially launched.
